Volunteering with CASA Latina

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with CASA Latina! We depend on the commitment and energy of over 50 community volunteers to carry out our programs for immigrant Latino workers and their families.

Volunteering with CASA Latina is a rewarding experience. Not only will you help immigrant Latino workers and their families make better lives for themselves, you will also learn about the realities they face as an often invisible community.

In addition to individual volunteers, we also welcome groups who would like to volunteer with a one-time or ongoing service project. If you are interested in arranging a group event, please contact us at least one month in advance so that we are able to schedule accordingly and find a place for your group.

Our volunteers’ hard work, heartfelt generosity and dedication greatly strengthen our programs. Our sincere gratitude goes out to all our volunteers for their support.

CASA Latina Volunteer Opportunities

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE TEACHER
Participate in CASA Latina’s popular education model by teaching English to adults during our Morning ESL classes at the Day Workers’ Center.

DOMESTIC WORKERS' PROGRAM ASSISTANT
Help ensure the smooth running of our Domestic Workers' Program, mornings at the Day Workers’ Center.

DAY WORKERS’ CENTER ASSISTANT
Help ensure the smooth running of this vibrant site! Assist mornings in the Day Workers’ Center.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE & SPECIAL EVENTS
Support CASA Latina through a variety of fundraising efforts.

ANNUAL AUCTION COMMITTEE
Participate in the planning of our 15th Anniversary Celebration! Volunteer 5-15 hours a month from to help lead another successful CASA Gala Dinner & Auction.

This packet includes an introduction letter, a more comprehensive description of our volunteer opportunities, and a volunteer application. Please read through all the materials and fill out the application. If you would like to arrange a group service project, please to be sure to contact us at least one month in advance.
